Semifredo

Annabel Langbein Semifredo Recipe
Semifredo
4 eggs separated400 ml cream120 gram castor sugar150 gram of nuts and dried fruits(I used almonds pistachio cashews and candid peaches and ginger)chocolate sauce*again I used bottled one you are welcome to make your own

3 hours including freezing
Serves:
10
4 eggs separated
400 ml cream
120 gram castor sugar
150 gram of nuts and dried fruits(I used almonds pistachio cashews and candid peaches and ginger)
chocolate sauce*again I used bottled one you are welcome to make your own
1.Roast your chosen nuts in a pan without oil till they are golden brown.Than cut them in smaller pieces

2.Beat egg yolks with half of the sugar till they have nice pale color

3.In another bowl beat the egg whites adding slowly other half of the sugar till.we have nice airy meringue

4. In a third bowl beat the cream till it is nice and fluffy

5.Now start adding to cream egg yolk mixture and fruit and nuts

6. As last carefully fold in egg whites .

7. Prepare either some small dishes or one like I did.Line it with plastic foil and pour your mixture in.

8.Freeze at least 3 hours .

9. 20 minutes before serving take your Semifredo out .Cut it and serve with chocolate sauce.

Great desert in memory of summer!
