Maple Glazed Nuts

These moreish snacks are good on their own, but also great for adding texture to desserts such as The Ultimate Pumpkin Pie. You can use almonds, pecans, cashews, macadamias or any other kind of whole nuts. If using hazelnuts, remove most of the skins first.

Maple Glazed Nuts
1 cup nuts, such as walnuts or almonds 2 tbsp maple syrup

Makes:
1 cup
  • 1 cup nuts, such as walnuts or almonds
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F fanbake and line an oven tray with baking paper. Place the nuts in a bowl, add the maple syrup and toss to coat. Spread out in a single layer on the prepared tray and bake until the syrup has set and the nuts are crunchy (10-12 minutes).
