Fiery pesto toasties/bruschetta
Bread, whatever you've got, although sourdough, ciabatta or a baguette is best.Good quality pestoor make some simple pesto:- 3 Tbsp Olive Oil, quite small handful Cashew or Pine nuts, heaps of Parmesan, 1/2 cup of torn basil, salt, pepper, 1 tsp ground garlic.Chilli, finely chopped or in sauce. Quantity depends on heat desired. About a teaspoon worth is fine usually.Parmesansalt/pepper to tasteTomatoes and Basil to 'garnish' : )
