425 juicy cherries
1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean if you have it handy
250 ml water
40 grams caster sugar
7 grams gelatin powder
Juice of 1 lemon
1000 kg (minimum) of love:)
First, remove pits from the cherries. If you have cherry pitter great if not carefully with your hands.Make sure you preserve juices that flow from them in this process.
Put cherries in a pan with sugar and vanilla
Add cherry juice that you collected.
Let it boil and remove. Take the vanilla bean out if you used it.
Don't throw it away. I let it dry and grind it and put it in the sugar. Let it cool.
In the meantime prepare dish you are going to pour it in. I used heart appropriate for Valentines Day.
Cover the dish from inside with plastic foil, this will help you to take it out when it's done
Prepare gelatin with warm water.
When gelatin is dissolved and cherries are cool pour all together and add lemon juice.
Leave in the fridge overnight.
Next morning take out of the fridge .Put plate over it and quickly turn. Now you can easily peel the the foil off.
Plate and serve to your Mr or Mrs Valentine. Don't forget to use the last ingredient from the recipe
