Just found your great show on "Create TV" (Louisiana Public Broadcasting). I was watching the episode where you were harvesting crocus(?) flowers for saffron. One of the 2 men on the farm that grew the flowers looked so much like the actor Sam Neil I just couldn't believe it. Was it him?
I love watching your show. The scenery is absolutely heavenly and you make cooking anything so easy!
Hi Judy - it certainly was. You can read more about it in the blog here on the website.
So glad to hear you enjoy the show. http://www.annabel-langbein.com/annabel/blog/the-world-in-your-kitchen/
Hi Annabel, I too was lucky enough to catch your episode with Sam Neill, and have been trying to make your pear prune custard since seeing the episode. Could not find the recipe anywhere on the web, also cannot figure out which one of your cookbooks happens to feature it. I love your show and I happen to think that your back drop in New Zealand is one of the prettiest places on earth.
If you would be so kind as too make it easier to at least see the index of your cook books so the we the public can buy them knowing what is in them.
Thanks and I hope that our local pbs station airs more of your show and at convenient time slots. I always catch in the middle of the night. lol
True! I like cooking shows a lot and most of the times my kids accompany me while I watch them. I have to find shows that are fit for their age. My cousin told me about Andy Yeatman shows on Netflix and I believe I must start accompanying them too.
