Greek Food( my grandfather was a Greek) is never one thing on the plate I remeber there were always olives and different ones (black and green) on the table, some sort of pasta  greek lemon chicken.Roaste dchicken with lemon inside.Spanakopita .Feta cheese and spinach filled filo pastry.Tzatziki jogurt cucumber in small cubes(really small) and lots of grated garlic, bakalva tasty filo with raisins ,nuts and honey syrup.I could go on forever. My favourite also filled peppers.Might put these as my recipe for he Community challenge as i make it realy often.Whatwas your favorite during your travels there?

The Greeks eat bread, grains, potatoes, rice, and pasta nearly every day. Staples of the Greek diet include olives (and olive oil), eggplant, cucumbers, tomatoes, spinach, lentils, beans, lemons, nuts, honey, yogurt, feta cheese, eggs, fish, chicken, and lamb.
