What to cook for Christmas: The finishing touch

Posted on December 20, 2012 by Annabel Langbein

The best thing about Christmas Day is the fact that, after a morning spent preparing the big midday meal, you've got carte blanche to curl up on the sofa for a little afternoon nap while the teens do the dishes.

But no matter how full you were by the end of dessert, soon enough there comes a time when you just feel like a little something else – perhaps with a bracing coffee to perk you up for another round of indulgence in the evening. My Prune, Pistachio and Hazelnut Log is just that little something – a little mouthful of deliciousness that'll remind you of why you look forward to Christmas all year round. Enjoy!
